The Program
for a highly discounted fee, typically 50-75% cheaper than a normal trek. In addition to this,
participants also get to experience unique program that no other high adventure participants get
to experience. The biggest thing that sets OAHA apart is that it is an individual program.
Participants do not attend with their units. Instead, they are placed in a crew with many other
Arrowmen from across the country. This unique atmosphere is what leads to OAHA being
considered a highlight of many participants’ time as a youth in Scouting.
The Scholarship
At FORUM 2025, the Section announced the winners of the OAHA Scholarship award. Given
every year to a small handful of outstanding Arrowmen from across the Section, this scholarship
pays for the entire program cost of an Arrowman’s trek. We were proud to announce that the
2025 recipients were William H, Jacqueline G, and Ashleigh L. Congratulations to these three outstanding Arrowmen!
